Ethic, innovation and long-term orientation are closely mingled in the values of Laboratoire Protec’Som
Ethic :


Protec’Som Laboratoire is first of all a healthcare company. Its purpose is to provide patients with innovative and efficient solutions at an affordable price. The strategic choices are linked to the respect that is at the center of the process. Respect for patients, caregivers, suppliers, customers and partners, but also uncompromising respect for rules, standards and our environment. Thus, the entire operation of Protec’SOm is based on ISO 13485 standard quality system. Moreover, all our textile products are certified Oekotex 100 class 1.

This concern for ethics, quality and respect is shared at all levels of the company. Every employee is strongly concerned by these values with an important commitment from the management.

Protec'Som has proudly received successively in 2008 and 2009 le prix des bonnes pratiques en management (Award of Good Practices in Management) from AQM (Association Quality Management).



Innovation and human factor :


From a humanistic point of view, each patient who is not fully healed represents a duty of innovation. From an economical point of view, innovation is a key of survival for our SME.

Within the Laboratory Protec’Som, everyone is aware of the need for continuous improvement and constant research of innovative solutions. Thus, far from being the exclusivity of research staff innovation, in Protec'Som, the product of a team that brings together caregivers, researchers, sales representatives, administrative officers and technical staff.

Several patents are coming out every year as well. Some have already participated in improving the situation of many patients, such as Texaal® or Itinhaler®. Others, such as Protexoderm®, will provide the solutions of tomorrow.

Long term orientation :
Long-term orientation is at the center of the strategy of management and shareholders of Protec'Som. Always focusing on building sustainable business instead of earning quick income. Protec'Som has invested about 15% of its turnover in R&D for the past 3 years and by, using its own brands as a guarantee for its customers, taking out for numerous patents.

This strategy is certainly more difficult and less profitable on a short-term basis. But this is a guarantee of the durability of the company, its products, its innovations, its employment and its industrial potential.
